Into The Wild - MIXED
In this section we feature and celebrate the leftfield wines, the wines with an edge of wildness, that extra little something that breaks the mould and excites with every sip.
In this mixed selection we feature a juicy chilled red, an energetic and wild white, and a refreshing and aromatic natural sparkling wine.

(Burgenland, Austria) Joiseph - Piroska 2019
Delicious and juicy blend of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Pinot Noir. The 2019 Piroska is as moreish as ever, medium/light in body, with a spicy backbone to complement the vibrant red and black fruits in this blend. Ideally served a little chilled. Joiseph is a collaboration between three friends that started with the 2015 vintage and has grown from a tiny hectare to nearly five hectares. The wines across the range are distinct, wildly exciting, and full of energy.
(Mosel, Germany) Staffelter Hof - Little Bastard 2019
A wine that has developed a loyal following and for good reason. It gets its name from the unusual blend of Riesling, Sauv Blanc, Müller Thurgau and Muscat. The result is a mind-opening but joyous wine - it is cloudy, a little fizzy, a little wild, has aromas of flowers and apricot yoghurt, with mouth watering acidity, and a unique zestiness that pervades from start to finish. Made by Jan Klein, the latest generation at the helm on this historical estate which has been in the family since 1805, but operating as a winery since 862...! Jan started to produce a special range of wines with no added sulphites in 2014, a range that has now expanded to nearly ten singular wines.
(Penedes, Spain) Entre Vinyes - Oniric Pet Nat 2019
A fresh and exciting sparkling wine from Catalonia. Made with the ancestral (Pet Nat) method, this blend of Xarel-lo and Muscat is just aromatic enough, just textured enough, and is the perfect tipple for a sunny day. It is undisgorged and unfiltered so you should give it a gentle upside shake before opening to dissolve all the goodness, much like a cloudy apple juice. Made by Maria & Pep, a couple who started from scratch in 2012 after taking over some old vineyards, and have slowly built this project into the successful and experimental winery it is today.
