Domaine de Thalie - 'Mégalithe' Mâcon-Bray 2020

A very interesting Gamay from this biodiverse and pristine corner of the Mâconnais. 2020 was a very warm vintage, leading to more texture and body - this silky Gamay has a very immediate profile, juicy yet more serious than your average juicy light Gamay. A soulful, deep wine to get lost in. 

Made by Peter Gierszewki, a first generation Burgundian of Polish parents who started this small 4.5 ha estate in 2009 with a view to push the limits of natural farming in his parcels, an ethos he also brings into the cellar. Beautiful naturally made Burgundy wines but with a very strong sense of belonging.
